oops wrong way - housing v industrial

I know you shouldn't laugh, but as I was walking with the pooch this morning I saw this great big crane come off the A1 and go straight over the roundabout (previous to this one) and into the housing estate. Swiftly followed by his escort vehicle chasing him from the other (correct) direction.
Ah ha, I thought, there's going to be a blip here soon. Sure enough, by the time I got to where he'd gone wrong, they were parked up chatting in an animated fashion.
I'd been round the block and was just about home again when I heard the unmistakable sound of his engine, this time headed in the right direction down to the industrial estate!
