The Pasque Flower

Headed off from Therfield today for our 6.5 mile walk with walking group. Was a hilly and muddy walk but we were rewarded at the coffee stop at the top of the hill with this beautiful emblem of Herts, The Pasque flower. Grows anywhere over the grass and need to take care not to tread on it!  I will try and go back with my better camera to photograph this in better light, very soon.....
