Entrance to the Gulf of Mexico

Day seven, Marco Island

Went back to Naples/Tin City today and took a boat ride around the harbour, Port Royal and a quick spin out into the Gulf of Mexico. Saw a few dolphins and lots of birds. The captain on the boat was telling us about the the houses on Port Royal - an exclusive non-gated neighbourhood where most homes are above $20 million in price and act as holiday homes for CEOs of multi-national companies! They even outprice celebraties! This blip is of a small beach just on the corner as you turn out into the open water of the Gulf of Mexico.
