Swallow Falls

Thought I would keep it flat and simple today so parked up in Betws-y-Coed and walked to Swallow Falls. Only 2m so not too much of a hike. What I had forgotten of course is that it is all uphill! My leg was certainly struggling by the end of it which has resolved me to go see someone about it on Friday. Can't go on like this, I have another 697 miles to walk this year! (yes, I have just passed the 300 mark).
Anyway, it is a beautiful sight to see, well worth a visit. The noise is deafening and the spray continuous but it is amazing to see.
Extra is a small sheltered pool there which people have thrown coins in, and the sun was gorgeous, glinting off them creating fabulous effects, like little fairy lights under the water.
A great day, coffee at Cadwaladers and a new tea to try from the Rhug Farm estate. Out for drinks and gossip with a friend tonight, so all in all, its been a good one!
