Jesus In The Bay

Just off the Las Gatas reef is a five meter statue of Jesus that was sunk in a bout seven meters of water a few years ago. At least that was what have been told ever since we arrived. Despite repeated attempts to view it, the water was never clear or calm enough to see it. That all changed this morning as is evidenced here with this very hazy shot. I stuck my underwater camera an arm's length down into the sea, but this is the best I could capture. I fully intend to return one day with a mask and try for a closer shot still, but the water is too cold for me to be swimming around in the early morning.
