The man on the rug

A visit to Glasgow again today for a meeting with visitors from England anxious to learn more about the principles and operation of the Children's Hearings system. The focus, language and approach of everyone with the child at the centre was a striking aspect to them.

Got back home to find that the man I mentioned in yesterday's blips - many thanks for the congratulations and best wishes - was still there.

It is a (heavy) model statue of Hercules, with a plinth, which has been delivered to us as a holding location for some of our daughter's friends before heading elsewhere as a gift.
