Cherry Picker

I needed to pop to the bank this morning so took some photos of the birds in the Castle Grounds on the way past. This blackbird was enjoying a breakfast of cherries!

Rob has gone on a school trip to Drayton Manor Theme Park as a reward for 100% attendance this academic year. Lucy has gone to Costa with her friends. Later she will be swimming coaching as usual.

We had a lovely evening at the school awards yesterday, I will admit to shedding the occasional tear. In addition to all her Maths awards Lucy received a special prize for 100% attendance over the whole 5 years she has been there. She received a fabulous graphic calculator which will help her with her A level studies. School had taken the trouble to get the case engraved as well so a wonderful reminder of her time there....such a shame they no longer have a sixth form!!
