Wheatears

The sun was up the sky was blue - looked like Spring so ....

It must be time to see one of those special birds that arrive this week from Africa for the summer.

There were at least three Male Wheatears that popped up and off the walls on the track up Bleaklow from Old Glossop. There may have been more.

This one popped down on the ground in front of me - It seemed to saying here I am get your photograph and move along now.  

I think they were looking for the Females (arriving soon ?)
