Great Expectations.

I was up and ready as soon as could be today .The sun was shining and there were geese to meet and greet .Two in particular .Here you see Mrs Majestic who is nesting in the same spot as last year .I had the thrill of filming and blipping the hatching then and with luck will do so again in a week or so . All of you know of Richard III .Here is his better half , rescued when covered in oil and reunited early this year . Compared to the Majestics the Richard's are open plan hippy like geese. .Not sure how safe the nest will prove .Fingers crossed .Richard stays on the water keeping watch . Mr Majestic is away most of the day but returns to stand guard at sundown .Mr Shy and his lady love have no nest so that will be next year . Manchester is in a fever of expectation .
