The Aftermath...

I was going to take Ewan down to see the flooding at the school with a wee bike ride but it had all but disappeared. All we were left was, was a muddy grime over everything below knee height and a couple of toppled planters in the Nursery section of the school which we corrected.

The boating pond (Yes, Rosyth boasts a boating pond. Model boating pond that is.) however still showed the evidence of yesterday's rather dramatic weather. The pond is normally half filled with just under a foot of water depth. Today, the water is still well above the edge and putting about another 3 inches of water around it's edge.

It was a lovely wee ride with Ewan followed by a quick grovel at the doctors to apologise for a missed appointment and a wee play at the park. Hopefully the start of some better weather before we head on holiday proper.
