Bald Eagle

By JohnJD

The bell frame arrived this morning. It has now all beeen hoisted up the tower today along with the last two bells, the smallest and the largest, plus all the clappers. Something in the region of 2.5 tons.

All that remains to go up the tower now are the wheels, stays and other pieces of timber.

This gentleman and his wife were watching the tenor, the heaviest bell, making the last stage of its journey from the ground to the bell chamber above.
