Mijas renovations
We avoided all the roadworks this morning and discovered a new single track road that has been built around the village. It was always a dirt track which we occasionally ventured along but the whole length, for, about half a mile has been block paved in dark grey for the traffic, sage green for the pedestrian walkway and pale grey for parking. The problem with the parking is that, along the whole length of the road they have only allowed for three quarters the width of a car and it's impossible to obey the rules of the signs which say you must park within the broken lines. Still it does look pretty.
The sun came out to play mid-afternoon.
This is the central square which has been torn up and the hills we will be walking in. I think we've hit it just right for the flowers.
