Integration

Almost unnoticed with all the hallabaloo about elections, a referendum and the PMs personal finances one of the biggest shake ups in my working lifetime has happened in primary care. We are now working together with adult social care to hopefully provide more seamless patient centred care. Apologies for the jargon. Our budgets are now shared ( the small matter of £250 million in Aberdeen City ) and I am suddenly on first name terms with folk fae the Council. There's a lot of opportunities with this newly integrated world and it will be interesting to see how this goes.
