Touching Technology
I went to a showroom in New York City this morning to see an example of new technology that can be used to improve collaboration. They had this 7' touch screen PC/monitor that can be mounted on a wall or put on a stand and flipped horizontally (like a table). What's cool about this is that you can mount a series of regular monitors on a wall and then with special receivers, drag-n-drop pictures or applications to different screens. In addition to that, it has a "whiteboard" feature so you can mark up presentations and then save/Email right from this monitor and everything can be controlled via touch and/or with an onscreen keyboard.
BTW - I had hoped to get some time to photograph the skyline from Rockefeller Center but that will have to wait for another time.
Just two days before I see some of my fellow blippers - cannot wait!
