Pond life

The other day, when it was raining late one evening, I spotted 5 baby newts at the edge of the pond. I think this is exciting.

Even though they are indistinguishable, they have been named Dorothy, Dorothy, Dorothy, Dorothy and Iwobi. This reflects my children's humour.

I haven't seen them since but it was nice to find a frog today.
