The first day of the holidays...

It was so lovely to wake and see the clock show 7.42am. What a blissful lie in!
After breakfast we wandered into Newark to drop off my work clothes for their end of term dry clean, collect some odds and ends and enjoy coffee and cake in a much loved coffee shop. After a spin around Waitrose we headed home for lunch and then I popped to the physio for my fortnightly massage and body realignment! Since then Paul has been making meringues for our annual wedding anniversary garden party this weekend and I pottered amongst the flowers, taking lots of shots. Such lovely colours, fresh after all the morning rain. I'm off training at 6pm and Paul is going to the Parish Council meeting.
