Barberry Flower

I have a large Barberry Bush that I think I look at closely every year because I have to prune it often to keep it from getting overgrown; but I have never seen flowers on it before. I haven't seen berries on it either.....so now I wonder if I will have berries when the flowers are gone.  I could be completely wrong and maybe there have been flowers before and I just didn't notice them, they are really tiny flowers. Hmmmmmm....so many things are a mystery to me.
