London

Yesterday I left a very wet and soggy Edinburgh and arrived an hour later to a bay London evening, a 10 degree difference. Tiredness and hunger and the closure of the Bakerloo line conspired to have me making some unplanned visits to Edgware Rd.

Despite my room being a cupboard I had a good night's sleep. A morning stroll to another hotel to do a colleague a favour then east to Häagen stone via Dalston.

The course was a curate's egg and I was bolshie.
I took the bus back to Fitzrovia, drank G and T on the balcony of the Garrick Theatre. Laughed at The Painkiller, Rob Brydon was excellent, and then are too much at Le Deux Salons.

Still warm. The canal at Haggerston shows how much this area of London has changed.
