Clearly there's an art to food photography
one which I have no clue about. Stews especially always kind of look icky in photographs, and I know many food photographers work with fakes. I can see why, if this image is anything to go by.
This is a recipe I invented called "Save the wine for drinking" lamb stew. Mostly created when the wine we thought would be way past its prime and only good for cooking turned out to be still in its prime.
So we had to use other tricks to make the lamb tender. Nothing incredible, but it did work. This is a lamb, lentils, winter vegetables and rosemary stew. http://forkd.com/recipe/save-the-wine-for-drinking-lamb-961
