To Mark the Occasion

A sad day. But huge relief. Our Scarborough property is sold today, on an "as is" basis. 

So the headache of fixing the earthquake repairs will no longer be our responsibility. The new owner from 02 May will have the freedom of doing whatever he wishes, and while having no insurance, he will not have to deal with Southern Response and the issues attached. In the meantime we can move on with our lives, with a financial outcome that would be better than that had we endured the nightmare of the insurers. 

We have had some wonderful times here at Flowers Track, and we will take away some wonderful memories (and images). Many of our neighbours have also gone so its time for a change. As one door closes, others will open.
