Kinderdijk Windmills
We set sail about 11.30pm last night and woke up this morning moored opposite Kinderdijk Windmills. After breakfast we visited it, and after a short tour, Mrs BB and I walked around it on our own. It's difficult to do justice to the place: It's so photogenic. My favourite of the short time we had there (we set sail at 12.30pm) is the main blip picture.
The extra is one I like of one of the friendly ship's staff, cleaning the roof window as we enjoyed a coffee after breakfast.
The results of the Wide Angle Wednesday, in the order below is: (38 entries (excluding mine)). Hearts to the following five -
1. Ortonblom (Stunning aurora)
2. Hanulli (Beautiful full rainbow - stitched panorama)
3. SueJay50 (Top quality vista of Barnstable Bay)
4. JanJen (Lovely wide angle of trees and path)
5. Welshmaid50 ( inventive crop of beachscape)
A mention in dispatches to:
a) Richy (nice use of iPhone!)
b) Freyjad (Lovely composition of old Manor)
c) AJC (Doesn't look wide angle (but is) with super processing)
