Chestnut against the currant!

A much better day today ..... not exactly warm but much brighter and milder. L and I enjoyed a walk through Pollok Park this morning .... no gloves or woolly hat necessary!

The trees are covered with signs of growth as the leaf buds begin to open. The horse chestnut is one of the most spectacular with the wonderful palmate leaves beginning to unfurl and the 'candles' beginning to grow. The flowering currant bushes are just covered with dripping clusters of pink flowers.
