Parsones Stayed Here

My Dear Fellow,

About one week after my 25th birthday, this was the first place I ever stayed in Edinburgh.  All of my worldly possessions packed into the back of a blue Vauxhall Nova, I came to stay in a B&B on this street.

I can't remember the number.  I do remember that the proprietor, a nice lady, made me bacon rolls for breakfast but she BUTTERED them.

I mean.  That's just wrong, right?  Grease on top of grease?  "Mmmmph, lovely..." I said.  Then told her I'd pack the rest up to have for my lunch. She was so delighted, she did that all week.

Exploring Edinburgh, I was delighted to find a flock of geese in Holyrood Park.  Needless to say, they dined well on bacon rolls for the duration of my stay there.
