Blaze of Yellow

It's only just over a week since I took a picture of a lone yellow flower, and as anticipated the rapeseed crop has shot up.  Inexplicably Jess likes eating it, tearing it up and gobbling it down like something possessed.

Can anyone explain this weird behaviour?
