No prizes

Definitely not offering any prizes for guessing what I've been up to! It's been going on for the best part of the past two weeks, upstairs, the stairs and down stairs. Hate DIY but must admit it does look very fresh and clean.
The sitting room (pictured) probably wouldn't have needed doing but Marlane decided that the small bits that did need painting could be done in patches. Great idea, that would save me doing the whole room I thought. Trouble is that with the fire, candles and the oil ring around the bulb in the standard Tiffany lamp all generating small amounts of smoke the patching up showed up as lighter so all of the upper painting had to be done. Just as well in the long run, it won't need doing for a long time as I've banned fires and candles MWHAAHAAHAA

N.B. the white in my ear is not a big blob of paint by the way, it's my headphone with Planet Rock blasting!
