Beyond Beauty

I was in London today and went to see the current exhibition at Two Temple Place, showcasing Egyptian collections from some small museums around the country but mainly up north including three from Greater Manchester - more info here. This photo is actually part of a contemporary work, of shabtis (small figurines that guarded and served the ancient Egyptian dead) by Syrian artist Zahed Taj-Eddin.
