My first medal

Well not 'mine' but Nicolas.
I'll explain:-

At our running clubs AGM a few weeks ago, one of the positions left unfilled was 'Ladies Road Running and Cross Country Manager'.
A week or so later One of the ladies approached me at training. She said the girls had a meeting and wanted someone who was popular with them all, a good motivator and communicator.

That person obviously couldn't do it - so they asked me!
Last week was the first race with me in charge of the team and Nicola here got a medal for 3rd fastest in her age group.
The medal was presented tonight in training.
