Pops returned home last night from a trip to the coast meaning the normal dog walking service resumed today. We discussed our normal topics of such matters as:

• do we stay in Europe or not. Poppy's view is things could get pretty woof if we pulled out
• how seriously is offshore tax evasion hitting the UK economy? Poppy's view is that her friend Daphne the Dalmatian has made good lolly on the Canine Islands so she is all in favour of the said evasion
• will Leicester win the Premiership title? Poppy's view is every dog has its day
• will Donny Trumpalot make a good or bad President? Poppy's view is that his bark is worse than his bite
