Surprise !!!

Up early and off to the hospital. It was a reassuring talk with the consultant, and my stitches and staples were taken out. Which was a great relief. But no test results yet.

Came home and then went out to go shopping but felt completely overwhelmed and a bit wobbly. Had to go and have a lie down.

This evening a meal at the West Cork Hotel for our eldest daughter's birthday.
When we got there I found these beautiful faces waiting to greet me - my son, his partner Becky and my beautiful granddaughter Mila!
They had all been plotting this fantastic surprise for weeks, completely unbeknownst to me.
So happy and delighted.
And now we all have two whole days together !
