What should I say today? I had news that threw me sideways and kicked me really hard in the gut.

Today is horrid and scary so I've called for calm on my emotions. I'll resist the temptation to freak out and will instead stare at Maissies paws. Really closely. Really, really closely, cause that makes me feel bette.... .. look, she had a weird nail going on there.....there's one on the other paw too........
