Endpapers

These lovely drawings illustrate the endpapers (front and back) of a book of Grimm's Fairytales that was a birthday gift to my mother from her mother on her 9th birthday.

It's a bit of an emergency blip (before I hie myself to Line Dancing) but I wanted a bookish blip today to celebrate some good news. I just heard that one of my very favourite poets has agreed to write an intro to my next anthology. Really cheered me up on a day when I was feeling a bit grimm. Can't say more yet - but hope there's 'no slip betwixt cup and lip' - fingers crossed. Meanwhile, I'm so chuffed ...
