Birthday cake

Here's the finished product! I've used this design for other people and a wedding cake before, but never for myself. And just the right pink too ;-). The other April birthday girls were impressed!

Bonnie baked me a surprise cake, one of my favourites, coffee cake. I was so touched and Merrilee brought me pink roses. Which matched the cake perfectly. What lovely friends I have, I feel incredibly blessed.  They wanted to take me out for lunch too.

I then headed into town to meet Ben for an appointment. It was wet and muggy there too.

Our church BBQ for tomorrow has been cancelled so we will stay home and celebrate with more friends.
