Inchcolm Island and the misty hills

Spokes Ride to Aberdour in Fife. The morning stays very damp, despite the forecast saying it would clear. We cycle out to the Forth Road bridge, and then follow the coastal cycle path to Aberdour.

We have a lovely lunch at the Woodside Hotel.

In the afternoon, the clouds have indeed cleared, and we have a pleasant ride back to Edinburgh. Out of Aberdour, up the first hill, we stop while those cyclists who feel overdressed shed layers. I get this realy great picture of Inchcolm Island with the misty hills

From here, its back along the coastal path to the Forth Bridge and back to Edinburgh. The sunshine stays with us until we are at Cramond Brig. It stays dry until I get home.

Work tomorrow.
