Red cedars

I've been working on this for two years. Cedar trees are opportunity trees, planted (and fertilized if you get my drift) by the birds. Considered a nuisance by many, I think they will make a fine windbreak and shelter for wildlife. Sadly, last year I let the weeds get away from me and couldn't see the tiny trees so mowed about a third of them down. This year I flagged them and mowed early so I can see them clearly. I told Joel this afternoon that I'm planning on building a cedar closet from planks I grew myself in about twenty years. He just laughed.
