Fuzzy Wuzzy

I tried to ID this caterpillar, but ended up sending the picture to a sight called BAMONA (Butterflies and Moths of North America). Does anyone know what it is? A friend, her two dogs, and I went for a long walk today and spotted this as we went along the Columbia Slough.
