Bluebells v.2
A bit of an EB, sorry, took Indie for a longer walk as it was Friday. It has rained most of the day, just dry long enough to cycle home and walk Indie. There has been some work carried out in the woods today and paths have been made wider with the trimming of undergrowth. The air was surprisingly heavy with the smell of wild garlic. It is not quite out yet, but the rain has enhanced the fragrance.
We walked down to the golf course and at first couldn't see anyone on it. It was quite soggy under foot which usually deters the golfers. As we walked along the lakeside I caught sight of 3 golfers so doubled back, only to be met with what I thought at first was another golfer, but was a lady walking her dogs. She had an excuse to be on the golf course as she worked for the company, but I felt I shouldn't be there so extended our walk around the back of the golf course. The walk would have been really enjoyable but I ran out of energy (sometimes happens) half way round and felt really rubbish. I limped home and tried (unsuccessfully) to photograph the woods, the colours are amazing. It is almost as if overnight the green has intensified
