Bush Buddy!

We're very fortunate that we live in an area with bush (forrest) at the end of the street.  Mr. RD was mowing the lawns, so I decided to take a leisurely stroll, thinking it might be a good opportunity to test out my new zoom.


There was a distinct absence of the usual birds but wrens were entertaining, flitting around and about, but I failed miserably in getting one clear shot!



On the way back  home, I caught this bird well camouflaged, nibbling away at the goodies on a tree trunk.  I think it’s a Brown-headed Honeyeater…… but happy to be corrected .....…....any thoughts?
