Too cold to Flamenco

There's a very strong breeze out there, so definitely not a day for toupees, but when the sun's out it's warm.

The Irish arrived in force yesterday and the bar was full to overflowing last night. Amazingly there was no noise when they went to bed but they looked fairly subdued at breakfast. There was a wedding at the main church this afternoon and they left the hotel at various stages to walk up to the village. The bride looked beautiful, as did her tiny bridesmaid daughter, and they and her father left in a horse-drawn carriage at quarter past four. I believe the reception is being held elsewhere.

The four of us had a light lunch in the village which cost €13 for four cheese and ham toasties, two coffees and two teas.

The roadworks are progressing well.

Out to dinner tonight where we hope the waiter will be as entertaining as last year.

Oh, I nearly forgot. A and I smuggled two bananas out of the restaurant last night but as we left JJ and W stood either side of the restaurant doors. Thinking they were being polite we graciously accepted their kind manners and walked through. As we did so, they both emitted what can only be described as a very poor security alarm call. Needless to say we all fell about laughing.

I'm not sure whether these girls ever took their coats off to dance but it was too chilly to hang about to find out.
