Red Squirrel

This is the first squirrel I've seen in my garden this year, he was a real cheeky chap, enjoying the peanuts that were in the feeder that he is sitting on. The squirrel flips the lid up to get the nuts. 

When we first got these feeders it took the first squirrel about 15 minutes to work out how to use it, and they seem to have communicated this through the generations.

I met my friends in Shanklin today, at first it was a bit rainy, but it soon cleared up, we had a long walk and a delicious lunch, an of course a great catch up. Daisy loved running on the beach and is now thoroughly exhausted. My app said we walked 10km on the beach.
