Now, as I see it......

A 'Four Seasons' day

The Roman museum where W volunteers had organised a mini-bus trip to the Avoncroft Museum at Bromsgrove. A fascinating place to visit; it is a collection of old buildings that have been rescued from (mainly) across the Midlands and reconstructed on site. There are over 30 buildings in the collection including a fully furnished post war 'Pre-fab', a fully working windmill, farm buildings, industrial workshops, a cottage, toll house, town house and corrugated iron Mission church. The main picture is of an old Public House with a branch of the Shrewsbury Co-op which now serves as the onsite tea room. There is also the National collection of telephone kiosks, so I felt I had to add an extra of me attempting to enter the Tardis.

And the four seasons? Well, we went through a blizzard on the way there, bright sunshine while we were there and hailstones on the way back!
