Blencathra

Today after breakfast we climbed to the summit of Blencathra via Halls Fell Ridge and headed back via Doddick Fell.  The wind was from the north and there were several snow showers on the way up and down.  The images suggest a sunny, spring day but I can tell you that it was bitterly cold on the top and I could barely feel my hands after taking the main blip, and yes that is fresh snow on the ridge.  A fantastic day though and some amazing views on the way.
