Back to reality

After sorting out yesterday's flying lesson I went over to Telford for a 5k race around Telford park -and got a pb to boot!- then it was back home for a quick bite to eat before shooting out to work a night shift. As a result today has been slightly less productive...

One of the nice things about Stafford is the plethora of tiny nature reserves dotted around in seemingly odd places like between main roads and the backs of houses. This staircase isn't even part of a nature reserve, just a path that leads around the back of the allotments up to the back entrance of the hospital.
I think I just liked the greenery and symmetry, though in hindsight maybe I should have scratched something into the handrail to make it more interesting..."blip me!", "blip was 'ere!"?

Talking about the hospital, it made the news again today...thankfully in a good way this time as apparently there are now no concerns and all 'essential standards' are being met.
