The Knitted Bible

This is a selection of an exhibition called "The Knitted Bible" , all the figures are hand knitted, on display in Newport over this weekend.
The main photo is based on the New Testament.
The centre:- The Birth of Christ. (Luke 2: 1-6, Matthew 2,)
Top left :- The crucifixion. (John 19: 13-25,)
Top right :- The boy with five loaves and two fishes. (John 6: 1-9,)
Bottom left :- The resurrection. (Matthew 28: 1-8,)
Bottom right. The lost sheep. (Luke 15: 1-7,)
In the extra photo section the photo is based on the Old Testament.
The centre :- Adam and Eve. (Genesis 2: 4-9, 15-17, 3: 1-7,)
Top left :- Noah's ark. (Genesis 6:,)
Top right :- Moses and The Ten Commandments. (Exodus 24: 12-18, 32: 1, Deuteronomy 5: 1-21,)
Bottom left :- David and Goliath. (1 Samuel 17: 12-50,)
Bottom right :- Daniel in the lions den. (Daniel 6:)
The exhibition is on loan from St. George's United Reform Church Hartlepool, where it was created.
It was a brilliant exibition well worth going to see, what a lot of work went into the knitting of all the figures and animals, and creating the scenery that went into each section, there were about 35 different bible stories on show.
