Definitely A Frost Hollow
As I have said in the past, our garden and the adjacent wetland/water meadow, forms the low point of the immediately surrounding countryside and is a frost hollow. Friends in the village often tell me that it is no different to the rest of the village or the surrounding fields, but they do not live here. Today’s pictures were taken just after 0700 hours this morning, the temperature had been down to -3C, there was a very apparent frost in our garden, but none on our road up the hill from the station or on the surrounding fields, which are higher than us. I have posted this blip, so that I have a record with which to challenge the doubting Thomas’s.
