Bright Eye

Seeing this bright, cheery pal is always a welcome morning sight. I identify him by some white wing feathers, so believe it's the same one. Must be his territory.
Only one more day before my cat pal can be  relieved of his halo !. Then I  can but hope he won't claw his eye again. Does anyone understand why vets using suturing material that takes ages to go ??. It will go on being itchy while the sutures are still in place. I did ask and got a vague answer !.
