Finally finished

My Mum and Dad bought me a mucial doll when I was about 8. Since that time the pink doll lost its colour, lost its head a few times too, so I decided to get rid of it. Only I couldnt...., the musical part still worked!
So I cut the doll up and kept the musical part for years it had just been attached to the bottom section of the doll that was kept in a drawer.

A few months ago I found a balsa wood box, I fitted in the musical component, fitted moth balls as feet. I painted my doll on the lid and each panel has a different painting, even pretending the front has a key!
Finally its had the last coat of varnish.

I now have that pink doll musical box that still plays Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake
