Silverdale Sunset

Spent today doing a short winter walk around Arnside and Silverdale on the North Lancashire Coast on the edge of Morecambe Bay. It was such a fanastic day after yesterday's freezing fog, there wasn't a breath of wind and with the tide in over the bay it was like a sheet of glass and there were big views over the frosty Lake District Mountains. I shot so many pictures it was hard to chose but I've gone for a the majestic sunset over the Bay from Silverdale Shore. There were several photgraphers trying to capture the dying sun but they all packed up once the golden globe has sunk below the horizon. As I had taken my camping stove to brew up on I stayed on shooting while the kettle boiled and this is the end result.

Goodnight see you tomorrow.
