View from the car

A view of the beautiful Kent countryside from the M25 as we were whizzing along the motorway. Of course you cannot stop to take a photo once you are on the motorway, and although I asked Gavin to slow down as he was driving, this was taken at his usual high speed (within the speed limit of course!)

A beautiful sunny day, certainly colder than last week but blue skies are always welcome. Luke was sleeping in the back of the car - after the BBQ last night, he and his friends ended up playing card games (with drinks) until 5am this morning - as you do when you are 20 years old, and about to end your holidays to go back to university. He was up at 9am to cook them breakfast so I am not surprised he was tired today. He is now watching snooker and sleeping on the sofa, but who wouldn't fall asleep watching snooker,  it is like watching paint dry and deadly boring.
