Briefing
With a good forecast, the largest number of pilots out for some time at Sutton Meadows - well into double figures.
A slightly slower start than usual as our tuggie re-certified but fortunate to be off first and into a great looking sky, shortly followed by A.
However, as it turned out the only bits of the sky working were the bits you could see, dead air in between the streets which, with the low base of 3500' later 4000' made our cross-wind task somewhat tricky. That, and the recently added wetness to the pre-existing wetness of the fens. Still, great fun flying together even if it was the slowest 15km I've ever flown!
Landed near Hemingford Abbots and J was great again with retrieve, including A and later G as well! A bit of a trip out and about.
Need to get a better video camera, quality on this is shocking; gets a different angle on things though.
