New Gloves

They're finished! My new gloves have been transformed from my old cashmere navy cardi. I sewed my initials onto each glove with some pink thread and colourful buttons. It looks like a child has made them but at least they're unique and handmade!

I found sewing surprisingly therapeutic this afternoon and on my friend's suggestion I'm planning on turning the body of the cardigan into a cushion cover for my next creation.

Despite the sunny weather today I decided to hibernate rather than risk driving the dodgy car and tackled the ironing while enjoying a marathon session of Downton Abbey.
